Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Server Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The SQL Server Integration Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless flow of data between various systems and optimize data processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust data integration solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), T-SQL, and Dynamic SQL.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data integration requirements.
• Design data structures (staging, intermediate staging, Dimension, Fact, Aggregate, views) well-suited to meet the business requirements.
• Analyze existing data processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL Server Integration Services packages.
• Work closely with database administrators to ensure the integrity and security of data.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure effective data integration.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data integration and ETL processes.
• Provide documentation (Data Mapping, Technical Specifications, Production Support, data dictionaries, test cases) for all projects.
• Document technical specifications and provide training to end-users as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven 5+ years of Industry financial experience in developing and maintaining enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Proven experience in data warehousing and data modeling techniques and methodologies.
• Proficient in dynamic SQL, T-SQL, and SQL Server database development.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.
• Proven experience in dynamic SQL, T-SQL, and SQL Server database development.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory for cloud-based data integration.
• Programming skills in C#.
