Maintain and enhance the and Zelis API Marketplace sitesWork closely with the User Experience Designers who define the requirementsDesigning and managing the website back-end including database and server integrationBuilding and implementing new themes and pluginsConducting website performance testsTroubleshooting content issuesMonitoring the performance of the live website


Required skills:
3 to 4 years of development experience with WordPressExperience working with a variety of WordPress pluginsExperience with custom WordPress themes and plugin developmentExperience with PHP development and PHP frameworksExperience with SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSGood understanding of website architecture and aestheticsWorking knowledge of front and backend developmentFamiliarity with code versioning tools (GitHub)


Desired skills:
Experience setting up development environmentsWorking knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud Computing ServicesKnowledge of security controlsUnderstanding of Section 508 guidelinesAbility to develop user stories to address user requirementsUnderstanding of agile development tools such as Jira
