    Description

    JobSummary:

    Weare seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design &Estimate Consultant with expertise in structured cabling projectcoordination budget estimating project estimation tenderpreparation bill of materials design team coordination ITinfrastructure design electronic security systems closedcircuittelevision (CCTV) and AutoCAD. As a Design & EstimateConsultant you will play a critical role in designing andestimating IT infrastructure projects coordinating with variousstakeholders and ensuring successful projectexecution.

    Responsibilities:

    1.Design andEstimation: Develop comprehensive designs and estimates for ITinfrastructure projects including structured cabling electronicsecurity systems CCTV and related components. Ensure adherence toindustry standards codes and bestpractices.

    2.ProjectCoordination: Collaborate with internal teams clients vendors andsubcontractors to coordinate project activities effectively. Ensuretimely delivery of project milestones and meet clientrequirements.

    3.BudgetEstimating: Prepare accurate and detailed budget estimates for ITinfrastructure projects considering all necessary materials laborcosts and other relevant factors. Monitor project costs and makenecessary adjustments to ensure adherence to budgetconstraints

    4.TenderPreparation: Prepare tender documents including technicalspecifications bill of materials and other relevant documentation.Coordinate the tender process evaluate bids and makerecommendations for vendorselection.

    5.DesignTeam Coordination: Collaborate with design teams architectsengineers and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirementsresolve design issues and ensure smooth projectimplementation.

    6.ITInfrastructure Design: Develop comprehensive IT infrastructuredesigns including structured cabling layouts network equipmentplacement rack configurations cable pathways and other relatedelements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and clientspecifications.

    7.ElectronicSecurity Systems: Design and specify electronic security systemsincluding access control surveillance cameras intrusion detectionand alarm systems. Collaborate with security consultants to ensureeffective integration of these systems with ITinfrastructure.

    8.ClosedCircuit Television(CCTV): Design and specify CCTV systems including camera placementmonitoring stations video storage and network infrastructurerequirements. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations andindustry bestpractices.

    9.AutoCAD:Utilize AutoCAD software to create and modify technical drawingsincluding floor plans cable routing diagrams equipment layouts andother projectrelateddrawings.




    Requirements


    Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Computer Science or a relatedfield.
    Provenexperience as a Design & Estimate Consultant preferably inIT infrastructureprojects.
    Strongknowledge and expertise in structured cabling project coordinationbudget estimating project estimation tender preparation bill ofmaterials design team coordination IT infrastructure designelectronic security systems CCTV andAutoCAD.
    Indepthunderstanding of industry standards and best practices related toIT infrastructure design andimplementation.
    Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaboratewith internal teams clients vendors andsubcontractors.
    Stronganalytical and problemsolving abilities to address design andestimationchallenges.
    Abilityto manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver withinestablishedtimelines.
    Proficientin using AutoCAD software for creating and modifying technicaldrawings.
    Knowledgeof relevant software tools for estimating project management anddocumentation.
    Attentionto detail and a commitment to delivering highqualitywork.

    Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or arelated field. Proven experience as a Design & EstimateConsultant, preferably in IT infrastructure projects. Strongknowledge and expertise in structured cabling, projectcoordination, budget estimating, project estimation, tenderpreparation, bill of materials, design team coordination, ITinfrastructure design, electronic security systems, CCTV, andAutoCAD. In-depth understanding of industry standards and bestpractices related to IT infrastructure design and implementation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectivelycollaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors, andsubcontractors. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities toaddress design and estimation challenges. Ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously and deliver within establishedtimelines. Proficient in using AutoCAD software for creating andmodifying technical drawings. Knowledge of relevant software toolsfor estimating, project management, and documentation. Attention todetail and a commitment to delivering high-qualitywork.
