- Manage investment and trade operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of investment transactions and trades.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and counterparties to facilitate the settlement of trades, including equities, fixed income, and derivative instruments.
- Monitor trade lifecycle events, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation, to minimize operational risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, failed trades, and trade breaks, collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent reoccurrence.
- Conduct periodic reviews of trade operations processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, assisting with training, development, and problem-solving as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market practices, and regulatory changes related to investment and trade operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in investment operations, trade support, or related roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and trade lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with trade settlement systems, order management systems, and trade processing platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in trade processing and documentation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in investment operations.
