About The Job
At Eduport, we offer a unique opportunity for Product Managers to lead a process
responsible for managing both student-facing applications and internal systems. As a
Product Manager, you will have the chance to collaborate closely with our tech, design, and
leadership teams, as well as other stakeholders, to plan and prioritise tasks effectively. Your
role will involve conducting market research to ensure our products meet the needs of our
users.
We prioritise our users at Eduport and seek Product Managers who are adaptable and
enthusiastic about driving change in a rapidly evolving environment. You'll play a crucial
role in guiding products from ideation to launch, bridging the gap between technical
requirements and business objectives. Your ability to break down complex problems into
actionable steps will be essential in driving product development forward.
Minimum qualifications:
● 1-3 years of experience in software product management and developing
Internet products and technologies.
● Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving the
product vision, defining go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions.
● Highly collaborative and able to respect and value others' opinion/constraints
while driving them towards a common goal.
Preferred qualifications:
● Ability to structure a problem into its logical sub-problems/parts. Identifies
relevant sources of data, analyses and uses data in decision making or
validating/dis-validating hypotheses.
● Ability to abstract requirements based on patterns and come up with top-down
strategic product thinking.
● Background working in EdTech space or experience as an educator.
● Bonus: Experience building and launching AI/ML-based features.
Responsibilities
● Devise product roadmap to address customer needs and drive leadership
alignment. Compose high quality feature PRDs to bring clarity on user needs,
milestones, and next steps.
● Drive the culture of customer-oriented thinking in entire organisation
● Goes deeper into the many domains like Academics, Payments, Operations etc
and develop in-depth understanding and proficiency in addressing
industry-specific challenges and act as an expert for other stakeholders
● Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other cross-functional team
members to build experiences and launch pilot experiments, and rapidly iterate
based on user feedback.
● Takes end-to-end ownership in a product lifecycle and shows willingness to be
accountable for all modules in a product/feature they are involved in.
