    Description

    Role & responsibilities

    For Manager role


    • Lead and supervise the day-to-day regulatory compliance (applying for licenses with the RBI, regular compliance filings with the RBI) and advisory assignments.


    • Accountable for the entire assignment such as timely delivery, quality of the deliverable, etc.


    • Expected to build positive client relationships and demonstrate understanding of the clients requirements and business.

    • Qualities of leadership, as the person will be responsible for allocation of work within the team, performance of the team, identification of training and development needs within the team.


    • Supervise effectively junior team members and take responsibility for reviewing their work

    • Assist senior members of the team on prospective client pursuits.
    • Proactively identify new areas where the Firm can leverage with the existing client.
    • Review of regulatory applications e.g. NBFCs, Banking Applications, etc.
    • Be up to date on developments in regulatory space NBFC, Bank Regulations, etc.
    • Take a major role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members.

    For Assistant Manager role


    • Execute and supervise the day-to-day regulatory compliance (applying for licenses with the RBI, regular compliance filings with the RBI) and advisory assignments.

    • Accountable for the timely delivery of high-quality engagements.
    • Build positive client relationships and demonstrate understanding of the clients requirements and business.
    • Be up-to-date on developments in regulatory space Banking, NBFC, etc.
    • Assist senior members of team on prospective client pursuits.


    • Supervise effectively junior team members and take responsibility for reviewing their work.

    • Play a significant role in knowledge sharing.

    Preferred candidate profile


    • Good Communication / presentation skills


    • Possess good analytical skills and the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong knowledge in and working knowledge in Banking/NBFC Regulations, etc.


    • Delivery of multiple engagements with quality standards and as per the agreed timelines


    • Good people and client management skills


    • Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels across the organization.
