- Experience in data architecture, ETL, data modelling & data management to meet business needs for on-premise and cloud-based technologies.
- Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions and automate the data pipelines on various platform.
- Experienced in implement data validation rules, data cleansing procedures, applied best practices, recommendations and assists in monitoring system performance
- Optimize database performance, scalability to ensure efficient, cost-effective operations
- A very strong sense of data ownership, being willing to guarantee data quality even it it originates from sources you don't directly control
- Proven track record in managing large and complex cross functional programs, bringing multiple teams (including project managers) together to work towards a common objective and single source of truth.
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams that write and maintain high-quality code using standard methodologies such as code reviews, unit testing and continuous integration
- Good time management skills and can incrementally deliver to tight schedules.
- Understanding of Ecommerce data, digital analytics, Product analytics tools (ex. Adobe analytics) and ML processes is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Lead Data Engineering Manager to support a Fortune 500 Technology Client. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience in setting up & implementing digital analytics (Adobe Analytics). leading data modeling and ETL development, APIs that serve real-time data, and aggregated dashboards, growing and mentoring junior engineers and setting a high bar for both engineering practices on the team and data quality. You will be responsible for data ownership, guaranteeing the speed, quality and usability of the data.
