About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced data scientist who uses statistical and programming skills to extract insights from data. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will contribute to our data-driven decision-making process, leveraging your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from complex data sets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations that drive business growth.

Responsibilities :

• Clean, transform, and analyze large data sets from various sources to extract meaningful insights and identify trends or patterns.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms that optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Design and implement experiments, A/B tests, and other statistical methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies or interventions.
• Create and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis techniques, and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and tools to enhance data collection, storage, and analysis capabilities.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, fostering their professional growth and knowledge development.
• Follow secure development, testing and deployment guidelines and practices in order to adhere to the overall security of the system under consideration.

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Extensive experience as a data scientist.
• Proficiency in Python and its data science/ visualization libraries.
• In-depth understanding of SQL.
• Competent in machine learning principles and techniques.
• Demonstrable history of devising and overseeing data-centered projects.
• Excellent mathematical skills and background, e.g. accuracy, significance tests, visualization, and advanced probability concepts.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a cross-discipline environment.
• Knowledge of deploying large-scale systems using distributed and cloud-based systems (Hadoop, Spark, Amazon EC2) is a big plus.
