    Job Title: Cardiothoracic Surgeon

    Location: Thanjavur

    Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed medical team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and surgically treating conditions of the heart, lungs, and chest. As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing surgeries, collaborating with medical professionals, and contributing to research and advancements in the field.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform complex surgeries related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, lung resections, and heart transplants.
    • Evaluate patients' medical history, conduct examinations, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Stay updated with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery and integrate new techniques into practice.
    • Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
    • Participate in clinical research, publish findings, and contribute to scientific advancements in the field.
    • Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and best practices in patient care.

    Requirements:

    • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
    • Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
    • Active state medical license and in good standing with medical boards.
    • Extensive experience in performing complex cardiothoracic surgeries.
    • Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging related to cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
    • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Fellowship or specialized training in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
    • Demonstrated track record of research and publications in cardiothoracic surgery.
    • Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques.
