Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Assistant in Biotechnology. The successful candidate will work closely with our research scientists to conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and contribute to the development of novel biotechnological solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for biotechnology to gain valuable research experience and make a positive impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist research scientists in planning and conducting experiments related to biotechnological research projects.
• Perform laboratory techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, and microscopy under the guidance of senior team members.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical and computational tools, and assist in interpreting findings.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and milestones.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Strong academic background with coursework or research experience in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or microbiology.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with common biotechnological techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in basic laboratory calculations, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Enthusiasm for scientific research and a desire to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a research assistant or intern in a biotechnology laboratory.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and techniques for data analysis.
• Experience with molecular cloning, protein expression, or next-generation sequencing technologies.
• Knowledge of relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, or ImageJ.
