The Role:

We are currently looking for a bright, self-motivated, hard-working individual for a Science Editor Position. This candidate will be primarily responsible for working with Guest Editors and authors and bringing in new content to the journal.

Responsibilities:

• Contact potential Guest Editors by phone/email and work with them to build Methods Collections
• Work with Guest Editors to recruit authors and assist those authors with the manuscript submissions
• Developing various projects to streamline departmental workflows

Requirements:

• MD/PhD with experience in a clinical setting
• Excellent English written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently once given a project
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
