    Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a diverse background and strong technical skills. The successful candidate will lead engineering efforts in the areas of Windows and Linux servers, workstations, storage, and virtualization.
    Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, located in the Washington D.C./Baltimore area and possess an active TS SCI clearance w/ full scope poly.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Analyze and assess existing functional requirements and infrastructure in order to recommend potential designs and solutions.
    Design, configure and maintain the systems or solutions in a cloud environment.
    Assess and validate possible reuse of existing code of a similar system.
    Utilize existing approved technology stack for new development.
    Perform tasks such as physical capacity management, hardware installation and commissioning, inventory, decommissioning and removal, and destruction.
    Coordinate engineering projects including performing technical risk assessment, de-conflict implementations, and resolve technical questions or conflicts.
    Gather performance and utilization metrics from infrastructure components and proactively inform the customer when thresholds are met.
    Perform Tier-3 engineering and support for virtualization infrastructure, consisting of virtual servers, virtual desktops, and automation solutions.

    Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
    Demonstrated experience designing and developing large scale enterprise systems.
    Demonstrated experience analyzing existing infrastructure and systems in order to propose potential designs and solutions.
    Demonstrated hands on experience performing engineering, implementation, and troubleshooting of VMWare virtualization infrastructure
    Demonstrated experience performing Hypervisor deployments
    Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of storage pools
    Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of virtual networks and servers and virtual workstations
    Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of automation solutions
    Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) and vRealize Suite
    Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of VMware vCenter and VMware NSX-T
    Demonstrated experience performing configuration and management of Cisco HyperFlex systems
    Demonstrated hands on experience engineering the design, build, and configuration of virtual infrastructure
    Demonstrated hands on experience performing administration, troubleshooting, patching, and support of virtual infrastructure
    Demonstrated hands on experience engineering the design, build, and configuration of Linux servers
    Demonstrated hands on experience performing administration, troubleshooting, patching, and support of Linux servers
    Demonstrated hands on experience performing risk analysis for proposed IT infrastructure changes

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

    Network Solutions Engineer (Route/Switch)

    of Layer 2/3 Engineering and Provisioning and carrier ethernet architectureDevelops network solutions based on Customer requirements including growth plans, capacity constraints, new features, technologies.

    Responsible for creating complex step by step engineering method of procedure to migrate, reconfigure and modernize the entire customers networksResponsible to deliver OSS, NMS, CES solutions, Complex DCN designs, Software customization framework and development plans.

    Stays abreast of new product engineering guidelines and keeps current with the latest technologies in order to deliver optimum network designs to the Customer.

    Provides timely support to Customers for questions/issues. Communicates project status and escalates problems to the engineering team leader.
    Performs assignments within schedule, with high quality, following established processes, Customer Specific Requirements and Engineering guidelines.
    Proactively pursues methods or solutions that will improve the Customer network and/or Engineering processes. Works to ensure Customer satisfaction.

    Receives project inputs from the SE and/or Customer and is responsible for validating and creating the Detailed Network Design (DND) that contains all the required settings and configurations needed to properly provision and turn up equipment.

    Act as a key technical interface to the Customer, plans, engineers, and supports network solutions/migration.
    Provide weekly updates to varying internal and external contract stakeholders. To include, PM's/Engineers.

    Network Solutions Engineer (Systems/MCP)

    How You Will Contribute:


    Reporting to the Senior manager, Solutions Engineering, as a Network Solution Engineer (Systems/MCP), you will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution for installation of client's Manage, Control and Plan (MCP) platform.

    You'll work in partnership with Sales Engineering, Account teams and the customer to ensure the lifecycle of customer's MCP engagement is completed from conception to final solution.

    You will develop test plans for customer network architecture and interoperability, ensuring the functionality and security of equipment and determining efficient equipment configurations suitable for customers and stakeholder requirements.

    You will prepare implementation plans based on the results of testing and provide expert engineering support in the deployment of the proposed improvements and modificationsYou will assist the customer with troubleshooting, installation and implementation with dedicated servers and MCP itself, remotely or in restricted, secure environment.

    You will provide weekly updates to varying internal and external contract team members, including client's PM's and Engineers.


    The Must Haves:


    Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or similar technical field of study coupled with proven experience in Linux, Linux security (STIGs/CIS), shell scripting and PERL.Security Clearance - Preferably Top Secret.

    Knowledge in automation/DevOps tools.
    Security+ or any equivalent DoD 8570 (IAT Level II or higher).Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
