Job Title: Head - Investor Servicing/Relations

Role: As the Head of Investor Servicing/Relations, you will play a crucial role in managing investor relations and servicing activities, with a focus on Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with AIF regulations, overseeing investor communication and reporting processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service to investors.

Location: Mumbai

Experience:

• 8-10 years in the Wealth or Asset Management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Wealth and Asset Management Experience:

• Possess 10-12 years of experience in the Wealth or Asset Management industry, with a strong understanding of investor relations and servicing functions.

1. Investor Relations and Servicing Expertise:

• Demonstrate proficiency in managing investor relations and servicing, including various periodic investor communication/statements and onboarding processes.
• Preferably have extensive experience in investor servicing for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).

1. Regulatory Knowledge:

• Exhibit a good understanding of AIF regulations and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

1. Investor Communication Processes:

• Manage investor onboarding and KYC requirements, capital call/drawdown, and distribution communication processes.
• Oversee periodic investor reporting, including Statements of Account (SoAs), quarterly fund updates, and tax-related reporting to investors.

1. Standard Process Creation:

• Develop and implement standard processes related to investor relations servicing, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in communication and reporting.

1. Team Management (Optional):

• If applicable, lead and mentor a small team responsible for investor servicing activities.

1. Communication Skills:

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to independently coordinate with internal support teams (legal, compliance, marketing, product, auditors, etc.), sales team, and external vendors (RTAs, Trustees, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in investor relations and servicing roles within the Wealth or Asset Management industry.
• Strong understanding of AIF regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively (if applicable).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
