    Advisory Consultant- Data Scientist

    What you'll accomplish

    The Apps & Data Transformation Consulting Team at DELL Technologies is uniquely positioned to assist customers in their journey towards transformation to ensure their relevance in the upcoming decade. This specialized group of consultants collaborates globally with Dell EMC's top fortune 500 customers in defining their transformation roadmap. As part of the DTS Consulting's Global Apps & Data team, we help customers unleash their potential and begin their Apps, Data, Platform, and Cloud Transformation journeys by offering roadmaps, technical and financial analyses, and executing strategies through cutting-edge, real-time innovative and patented methods.

    You will:

    • Suggest architecture enhancements and recommend process improvements for Infrastructure provisioning automation.
    • Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage release automation pipelines to ensure the swift release of new features to production systems.
    • Conduct pre-production Acceptance Testing to ensure product/service quality, troubleshoot systems across platform and application domains, suggest architecture improvements, and recommend process enhancements.
    • Evaluate new technology choices and vendor products for quick automation onboarding, ensuring essential system security with top-tier security solutions.
    • Maintain critical system security using best-in-class security solutions, support Sr. Solution Architects in collaborating with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customers in an advisory capacity, deliver competency-based solutions, and contribute to deal closures.

    Essential Requirements

    • BE/B-Tech/master's in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with 13+ years of software engineering background, recent involvement in AI, Data Science, or Big Data, ideally in a client-facing delivery capacity.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a data scientist/data engineer/ML engineer with a proven track record of coding in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and related technologies (essential).
    • Proficiency in Generative AI tools and methods such as LLM, MLLM, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Fine Tuning, etc. (at least one technique is compulsory).
    • Thorough and hands-on comprehension of AIOps/MLOps technologies like Kubernetes, KubeFlow, MLFlow, run:ai, Hugging Face, etc. (mandatory).
    • The ability to effectively communicate ideas/code through GitHub/GitLab/etc., documentation, and presentations.

    Desirable Requirements

    • Familiarity with various message formats like JSON, Avro, Parquet, Delta Lake, Iceberg, etc.
    • Experience in developing scalable and reliable cloud-based applications, understanding architecture styles such as data mesh, data lake house, etc.
