Description

• Assists Sales with contract reviews and tender material with respect to client inspections to ensure that FLSmidth can fulfil client demands
• Informs suppliers and FLSmidth inspectors so they are well prepared for inspections
• Invites clients or their representatives to inspections to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
• Coordinates clients' inspections (between Client on their representatives), suppliers, and FLSmidth inspectors to avoid misunderstandings
• Performs inspection on Proprietary (Casting, Forging, Fabrication) and Non-FLSmidth proprietary equipment together with clients to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled
• Organizes, coordinates and prioritizes complex inquiries within a specialized area to secure these issues are dealt with correctly and promptly
• Acts as the main contact for complex issues within the specialized area that needs to be solved urgently, and by this contributes to quick and correct handling
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activities

• Educates and coaches trainees or other inspectors to build good skills to perform all inspections independently
• Provides assistance to Sales, Project Management and Purchase with Supplier evaluations on potential plate workshops, machine shops and foundries on a quantitative and qualitative basis in order to secure each company's human and mechanical capability
• Plans and performs adequate inspection at FLSmidth's suppliers to ensure that quality standards are met
• Negotiates service level agreements, performance/quality metrics and ensuring contractual obligations are met
• Identifies, coaching, and managing suppliers according to organization quality standards and policies
• Leads supplier developing programs on strategic suppliers
• Resolves supplier problems related to quality, performance, and service level
• Provides effective assistance to all internal departments where knowledge of manufacturing and inspection is needed
• Supervises suppliers during manufacturing so they understand FLSmidth specifications, and in order to avoid problems during production
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company's operational activities
