Asa Draughtsman/Design Engineer at Fabex Engineering Pvt Ltd you willplay a crucial role in our engineering and manufacturing processes.
Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed technicaldrawings for various structures piping and layout work ensuringaccuracy and compliance with industry standards.
You will also needto possess a strong understanding of piping and instrument diagrams(P&ID).KeyResponsibilities:
Drafting and Design:
Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks software tocreate detailed 2D and 3D drawings of pressure vessels structuresand piping systems considering safety functionality andefficiency.
Layout Work:
Collaborate with the engineering team to developlayout plans for manufacturing and assembly taking into accountspatial constraints and optimalworkflow.
Material and Component Selection:
Assist in selecting appropriatematerials and components based on project requirements and industrystandards.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevantcodes standards and safety regulations such as ASME API andISO.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers project managers andother team members to address design modifications and resolvetechnicalissues.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and organized records of alldesign and drawing revisions Create Bill of Materials (BOM) andparts lists to support manufacturing and procurementprocesses.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to the production andquality control teams during the manufacturing and testingphases.
Qualifications:
ABachelors degree / Draughtsman or equivalent technicalcertification in mechanical engineering or a related field ispreferred.05 yearsof professional experience as a Draughtsman in the field ofpressure vesselmanufacturing.
Strongknowledge of piping and instrument diagrams(P&ID).Familiaritywith relevant industry codes andstandards.
Excellentattention to detail and problemsolvingskills.
Strongcommunication and teamworkabilities.
Knowledgeof materials and components commonly used in pressure vesselmanufacturing.
