    Description

    About the internship:

    Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

    1. Travel across Khasi-Jaintia and Garo regions to carry out 25 surveys and 10 FGDs (each team of 2 interns)

    2. Coordinate with village headmen, nokma, and farmers to organize FGDs and get their time for carrying out surveys

    3. Work together to carry out the required activities and carefully document all information in a systematic and organized manner

    4. Take photographs of the activities being carried out

    5. Check in with the regional lead every day, informing them of work progress and challenges, if any

    6. Complete field work in 4 weeks time

    7. Digitize and translate (to English) survey and FGD data in a timely manner.

    8. Submit all hard copies of questionnaires and other data to IORA

    Only those candidates can apply who:


    1. are available for full time (in-office) internship


    2. can start the internship between 10th Apr'24 and 15th May'24


    3. are available for duration of 2 months


    4. have relevant skills and interests

    Stipend:

    INR ₹ 10,000-15,000 /month
