AboutThe RoleWe are seeking anexperienced and highly skilled disputes lawyer to join our LegalTeam.As a disputes associate you will beresponsible for handling a wide range oflitigationmatters for our organization. Youwill collaborate with various internal departmentsandexternal stakeholders to manage legaldisputes develop litigation strategiesandprovide legal advice to protect thecompany's interests. The successful candidatewillhave excellent analytical negotiationand advocacy skills as well as anunderstandingof the legal landscape andlitigation procedures in the Media & Entertainmentindustry.
WhatYou Will Do Manage allaspects of legal disputes including analyzing claims preparinglegal strategies drafting pleadings and managing courtproceedings. Manage dispute cases frominception to resolution ensuring all legal requirements anddeadlines are met. Review and analyzeincoming legal notices to understand the allegations claims andlegal issues involved. Prepare wellcraftedresponses to legal notices addressing each allegation and legalpoint with precision and clarity. Handle allstages of litigation/arbitration including drafting pleadingsmotions and briefs conducting legal research and managing discoveryprocesses. Develop and implement effectivelitigation strategies to protect the companys legal rights andinterests. Collaborate with external counselwhen required manage external legal resources and ensure the timelyand costeffective resolution of legalmatters. Review and draft correspondencerelated to disputes. May need to travel insome litigationcases
WhatYou Will Need Bachelor sdegree in law (LL.B) from a reputedinstitution. Minimum 3 15 years ofexperience in law firm or corporate with a focus on disputeresolution preferably in the Media & Entertainmentindustry
