Peraj Insurance brokers is looking for anUnderwriter with strong knowledge having minimum 35 years ofexperience in P&C Underwriting.

MoreSpecifically the
responsibilities would include thefollowing:Evaluating information about the potentialclient Gathering backgroundinformation on potential customers from information provided inproposal forms for insurance To check thecurrent number of inforce policies for similar levels of risk usingcompany records To analyse therisk profile of the potentialclient.

Analysing all relevantdata using appropriate available information to determine whetherthe level of risk is acceptableLiaise with specialists to gather information andopinions to recommend best solutions to potential andexisting client.

To establishpricing for accepted insurablerisks. Preparing the terms andconditions of insurance policiesWeight loss exposures and determine underwritingalternatives Negotiating policyterms and pricing with Insurance Company andclient Communicating directly with customersand servicing them as per their requirementDesigning manuals for clientsKeep detailed records of policies underwritten anddecisionsmade
