    Description

    THE ROLE

    Supervise the Middle Office teams in Mumbai and work closely with Head of Operations to ensure a high standard of services are delivered. Leading best practice implementation within the Operations functions, as well as monitoring control measures within the business.

    Responsibilities

    Manage and overlook the daily operation of the Middle Office function which includes trade processing, cash, and position reconciliation, and shadow accounting

    Identify and resolve operational issues

    Work closely with team leads to ensure all deliverables are delivered with accuracy

    Ensure operational procedures from each team for each client are up to date

    Review and enhance existing workflow

    Ensure proper allocation of tasks across team members

    Skills Required

    15+ years of experience in Operations/Middle Office preferably supporting Hedge Fund Managers

    Good product knowledge which covers Equities, Fixed Income, OTC, Foreign Exchange and OTE products

    3+ years of experience in team management

    Excellent communication skill

    Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and operation system

    Independent, attentive to details and self-motivated

    Good time management skill and able to work under pressure

    Advantageous Skills

    Previous experience in using Linedata Global Hedge, IMAGINE or ENFUSION is a plus

    Academic Requirements

    A degree holder in Finance or equivalent
