    Description

    The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will contribute to the planning and execution of electrical designs, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for buildings, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
    • Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze project requirements and develop design solutions.
    • Assist in the selection and procurement of electrical components, equipment, and materials.
    • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical systems and infrastructure.
    • Assist in performing load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and power distribution studies.
    • Participate in design reviews, meetings, and coordination efforts with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
    • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
    • Support field engineers and technicians during installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, standards, and best practices related to electrical engineering.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
    • 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field (internship experience may be considered).
    • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
    • Familiarity with electrical design principles, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
    • Knowledge of electrical engineering software tools for analysis and simulation (e.g., SKM PowerTools, ETAP).
    • Experience with building information modeling (BIM) software is a plus.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is desirable.
