- Working collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems
- Designing, developing, implementing, and managing infrastructure for engineering using DevOps methodologies
- Responsible for Continuous Delivery/Integration
- Maintaining and enhancing build/deployment pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery of changes to improve the quality and availability of our product
- Help automate and streamline our operations and processes
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments
- Regularly perform security checks and troubleshooting
- Identify problems in a timely manner
- Suggest and implement solutions for improvement
- Track existing processes and offer solutions for improvement
- Implement new processes with the goal to optimize the company's security system
- Stay up to date with the latest security technology and trends
- Attend related conferences and educational events to stay competent
- Work with the development team
- Perform regular audits and provide reports
- Monitor the company's server traffic and tickets
- Ensuring the security, availability, performance, scalability, and automation of our infrastructure
- Ensuring reliable and ongoing measurement and monitoring of our :
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, related discipline, or equivalent experience required.
- 5-8 years of work experience, 5+ years focused on infrastructure/DevOps engineering
- Azure Certification is a must
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration is must
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and infrastructure management tools
- Experience with AWS & Azure is required.
- Must have experience in AWS products like ELB, EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, SES, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with CI servers such as Jenkins, Travis or similar types
- Knowledge of potential attack vectors such as XSS, injection, hijacking, social engineering, and so on
- Knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP
- Knowledge and experience with HTTP and HTTPS, as well as their underlying implementations
- Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks
- Basic programming knowledge
- Knowledge of Agile Development processes
- Strong communication with an excellent ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Salt stack, or an equivalent
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL
- A working understanding of code and script (Python, Perl and/or Ruby,)
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- System and network security best practices
- Experience in modern distributed solution architecture
