    Description


    We are urgently looking to hire IIT Engineering Graduates for a FMCG MNC client for their Education and stationery products division for Chennai location.

    This is an Interim role for period of 6 months (on Fixed term basis)

    Job Period: 6 Months

    Job Purpose

    • To formulate Production Plan in line with requirement through 3rd Party manufacturing vendors
    • To optimize conversion cost/unit for manufacturing SKU
    • To ensure OTIF delivery against Production Plan
    • To ensure Liquidate & review ageing RM & FG inventory
    • To ensure Quality & COC compliances at vendors

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Production Planning:

    • Formulate Manufacturing Plan Basis Enquiries
    • Build Manufacturing capacity in line with Business Growth Plan
    Conversion Cost

    • Formulate SKU wise conversion cost
    • Monitor Planned vs actual conversion cost at SKU level
    • Develop & deploy effective measure to optimize conversion cost

    Schedule Adherence:

    • Communication of Production schedule to vendors
    • OTIF Delivery as per Monthly Plan
    • Review of key bottleneck in operation & resolve the same
    Quality Compliance

    • Ensure 100% compliance to QMS system
    • Ensure ZERO Defective to customer
    Vendor Management

    • Identify new vendors / developing existing vendors in line with the desired capacity requirements
    • Facilitate induction of new / relevant technology at vendor locations
    • Ensure vendors follow all defined manufacturing process parameters
    • Regular Evaluation of Vendors to assess their efficiency
    People Development & COC

    • Ensure clear communication of the overall strategies and drive ownership on all tasks expected to be performed by the team
    • Identify training needs for the team and ensure that the training is imparted accordingly Code of Conduct & Compliance to all Statutory / Regulatory norms
    • Drive and ensure adherence to the defined company's Code of Conduct practices by the Stationery operations team
    • Conformation to all financial and administrative systems.
    • Compliance with all statutory and regulatory norms

    Functional knowledge of SAP


    B.Tech in Mechanical engineering / Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering from the below campuses only Campus List with min 1 year experience.
