PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Mechanical Engineer is responsible in providing effectivemechanical solutions to product and production
equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.

NewProduct drawing for customer:
a. Work with SalesDepartment to generate and manage product design drawing functionmaterial
and quality specifications during developmentphase based on customer request.
2. Ensure allengineering documents are updated and properly maintained at PDMsystem (DDM).
3. Review and ensure completeness of theengineering BOM drawing and specifications prior issuanceto
production.
4. Ensure timely release ofengineering BOM drawing and specification tomanufacturing/production to
avoid productiondelay.
5. Lead and support new projects to ensureprojects completed on time.
6. Work on continuousimprovement activities or projects to increase efficiency andproductivity.
7. Ensure engineering projects arecompleted on time and within budget.
8.

Product Welding:
Ensure PQR WPS and WPQ are qualify according to internationalstandards like
ASME and or customer specificrequirements.
9.

Product Drawing Review:
Review jobdrawing according to products specification.
10. Ensurethat First Pass Yield (FPY) KPI target set are met and conductcontinuous improvement plan.
11. Support productionsupply chain and quality department in resolving in resolving alltechnical issues
of the products and make disposition onproducts e.g. feasibility analysis of product usage for
customer.
12. Plan conceptualize and create mechanicaldesigns for new products.
13. Develop testing processesand perform testing and validation of new internal &customer designs.
14. Generate working prototypes forbeta testing and customer demonstration
15. Performengineering calculations to support design work16. Create and review technical drawings plans andspecifications using computer CAD software
17.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and work withvendors and contractors
18. Perform detaileddocumentation to track project development and designprocess
19. Ensure project timeline is met and projectstays within budget
20. Generate monthly reports& ensure KPI target is achieved.
21. Ensures 5Sis implemented in the work area.
22. Adheres companysguidelines with regards to Safety and Quality.
23.Complies to Company Code of Business Conduct.
24.

Participate in companywide or departmental programs suchas:
Total Quality Management LeanManufacturing
Social Activities

REQUIREDCOMPETENCIES
1. Must complete minimum training requiredspecified in Employee Qualification and OJT.
2. EnsuresAccountability holding self and others accountable to meetcommitments

QUALIFICATION GUIDE
1.

Education :
MinimumDegree in Mechanical Engineering
2.

Communication :
Excellent Communication Skills (Fluent in oral and writtenEnglish)
3.

Experience :
Minimum 57 year of proven andsolid work experience in the Oil & Gas
equipmentManufacturing Environment
4.

Software/Hardware :
Knowledge on CAD tool like solid works inventor or proE and readmachine
drawings MS Office Suite PLMsoftware.
