**Associate Dean of Psychology Role Summary**

The Associate Dean of Psychology will provide dynamic academic leadership and vision for the Department of Psychology at Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science. This role involves overseeing curriculum development, faculty mentorship, student support, research initiatives, and fostering collaborations within the college and the broader community.

Key Responsibilities

• Aademic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative curriculum, foster a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship, mentor and support faculty members, oversee student advising and support services, and manage departmental resources.
• Research & Collaboration: Promote and facilitate research activities within the department, seek external funding opportunities, and foster collaborations with other departments, institutions, and community organizations.
• Departmental Administration: Oversee departmental operations, including faculty recruitment, course scheduling, and program evaluation, ensure compliance with college policies and accreditation standards, and represent the department at college and university meetings.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Psychology from a reputable institution with prior experience in leading the department.
• Ability to inspire and mentor students, conduct impactful research, and lead successful academic initiatives.
