    Description

    SUMMARY :

    Primary requirement for this position is to grow the engineering services business to the India-based Global Engineering Center (GEC) of USA and European MNCs operating in the Industrial, Medical Device, Automotive, and Semiconductor Industries.

    The candidate should have direct and first-hand experience in sales & and business development pertaining to embedded, PCB design, digital engineering services, test automation and ASIC design services in the managed services/ODC model.

    Direct experience and good understanding of sales process from prospecting to close and experience of collaborating with internal and client engineering / technical teams is very important.

    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Hunt/prospect/call on GEC clients leading with Embedded / Software / Digital / Testing / ASIC engineering services

    Revenue and business expansion at GEC clients through managed services model

    Run complete sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, proposal creation and submission, negotiation and deal signing

    Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

    Achieve prospecting and other sales process goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline

    Personally develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals with Director & VP level executives at targeted firms.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

    15-18 years experience with 10+ years in direct sales of engineering services

    Demonstrable track record of achieving sales quota

    Able and willing to develop client base via aggressive prospecting

    Strong track record of establishing and cultivating business relationships with India Center Head, VP, Director engineering (clients side)

    Experience with working GEC operating in the high tech domain and cultural adaptability to work across the globe with engineering & sales teams

    Experience engaging the potential customer with consultative selling and demonstrated experience to position differentiators

    3+ years of product engineering experience not mandatory but desirable

    EDUCATION BACKGROUND :

    B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Computer/Instrumentation Engineering. Or, M.Sc. Computer Science / M.C.A]
