About Us: We are an EV Start-up trying to build a smart mobility for urban areas. It is a reverse trike with an enclosed body structure with 2 passengers and some cargo space.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Sculptor/CAS Modeler with expertise in automotive design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a strong background in using Autodesk Alias, and the ability to thrive in a start-up OEM environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with designers and engineers to create digital surface models using Autodesk Alias software or similar.
2. Develop Class-A surfaces for exterior and interior components, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
3. Refine and optimize digital models to meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturing requirements.
4. Interpret design sketches and concept drawings to produce digital prototypes and visualizations.
5. Conduct surface analysis and evaluations to identify and resolve design issues.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques related to digital sculpting and CAS modeling.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in automotive design, with a focus on digital sculpting and CAS modeling.
3. Proficiency in Autodesk Alias software, with a strong understanding of surface modeling techniques.
4. Solid understanding of Class-A surfacing principles and methodologies.
5. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital sculpting and CAS modeling for automotive applications.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
7. Highly detail-oriented with a passion for creating exceptional automotive designs.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a design studio or automotive OEM environment.
2. Knowledge of CAD software tool Siemens NX would be an advantage.
3. Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) design applications.
