    Job Title:Director Operations

    Our Client : Leading Hospitality Brand ; Five Star Deluxe Hotel with extensive Banqueting and MICE facilities.

    Reports to: General Manager

    Overview:

    Director of Operations is responsible for the direct supervision of the hotel's Executive Committee of Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Spa and Security.

    Reporting into the General Manager ,oversees the day to day operations of the hotel in accordance with company standards, mission statement, vision and values. This position acts as a primary strategic business & operational leader of the hotel with responsibility for all aspects of the operations departments like Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Culinary, and also ensure the guest and employee satisfaction. Furthermore, this position is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotels while, managing, growing and fostering positive owner relations and maximizing performance.

    Salary Range: upto 35 LPA.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Business Performance

    • Discuss with General Manager and establish operating budget and financial forecast for the hotel
    • Lead and guide the budgeting process of individual department and adhere to the established guidelines
    • Analyse monthly P&L and month-end reports, identify deviation from business plan goals
    • Execute F&B Marketing, Upselling, and operational activities, producing results that meet or exceed the hotel's budgets
    • Efficient operation and cost control of all hotel departments and facilities
    • Hold daily Operations and Monthly Management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related for all departments
    • Prepare and submit weekly reports to General Manager Delegate

    Operations

    • Understand and enforce our "Guest Essentials", vital to providing a consistent and distinctive brand experience for guests.
    • Strive for operational excellence and a company culture of continuous improvement and sustainability
    • Manage and establish positive owner relations through proper and appropriate communications with the appointed Owner's representative.
    • Follow appropriate protocol in communicating with the appointed Owner' representative and keep General Manager Delegate informed of such communications
    • Lead and guide the concern Executive Committee team in driving the hotel revenue for all revenue centers to achieve goals and objectives set
    • Survey and analyze competition, market trends, guest mix and needs. Evaluate and recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary
    • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations in your respective areas and departments
    • Be present to personally welcome key residents and patrons, and entertain key accounts' representatives
    • Communicate in an effective and timely manner with General Manager which require his attention
    • Enhance the company image and market reputation.
    • Comply with established guidelines on the hotel organizational structure and reporting lines
    • Be visible around the hotel and show an active interest in our employees' welfare

    • Attract ,train, retain & coach executive committee team members and leadership team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the operation
    • Conduct performance review and manages performance issues that arise within the management team
    • Monitor team members performance, attitude and degree of professionalism coaching, counseling and development of team members according to the changing needs of the business

    Main Complexity/Critical issues in the Job

    Develop, recommend, implement and manage hotel's short and long term operations, marketing, capital, revenue, expense and profit goals to maximize business potential and meet/exceed owner and corporate management expectations.

    Preferred Experience/ Qualification

    • 12- 15 years Hospitality experience in Five Star Deluxe Hotels including minimum 2 years as Director F&B of a large Inventory Hotel or experience in a reputed Hotel in similar capacity (No 2)
    • Candidates with a Culinary background who have grown into to a Director F&B role

    would be an ideal fit.

    • International experience will be an advantage; has worked with global brands;

    • B.H.M and/or M.B.A graduate from reputed institute
