One of our prestigious clients is looking tohire a Senior Engineer I Structural tobe based in Ras Al Khair Saudi Arabia In the Maritimeindustry who will be responsible for but not limitedto:

JobOverview:

This job role is toensure to lead the structural discipline in the assignedprojects.

KeyResponsibilites

• Overseea team of structural designers while carrying out designengineering and 3D modelling.
• Preparation andreview of hull and outfitting structuraldrawings.
• Guidance and review of the liftingstudies and stress analysis.
• Preparation ofdesign basis project specifications for Shipbuilding projectsinvolving basic / detail engineering.
• Carryoutfeasibility studies and tender documentpreparation.
• Material engineering whichincludes preparation of purchase specifications purchaserequisitions technical bid analysis Supplier document/drawingevaluation after order.
• Constructionengineering activities including MTOs shop drawings and job packagepreparation and issue.
• Coordination withInternal Departments Customer & InspectionAgencies.
• Ensure that design comply with therelevant codes standards regulations andprocedures.
• Progress monitoring and adherenceto scheduled completion of engineeringdocuments.
• Attend project reviewmeetings.
• Responsible for change management andtrend notifications.
• Monitor budget complianceof design deliverable production.
• Activityplanning work assignment work scheduling and monitoring.Interdisciplinary checks&coordination.
• Ensure compliance withall applicable information security policies&procedures.
• Ensure quality andaccuracy of the engineering deliverables for the discipline andcompliance with Health Safety & Environmental (HSE)responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BachelorsDegree in Structural Civil or Naval ArchitectureEngineering
• 915 years in engineering designdepartment of any shipbuilding industry
• Soundknowledge of international codes &standards maritimeregulations and class rules.
• Design experiencein steel structural analysis software used in marineindustry.
• Exposure to AutoCAD 3D design toolslike AVEVA.
• Exposure to structural designsoftware such as ANSYS SACS STAAD ProAbaqus.
• Demonstrated highorder interpersonalskills and the ability to operate within a multinationalenvironment.
• Demonstrated ability to influenceand motivate others with regards to continuousimprovement.
• Good communication andpresentation skills.
• Design experience in basicor detailed engineering for B/C and OilTanker.
• Ability to understand the manufacturingprocess of shipbuilding and convert these into efficientengineering.
