    During the year , the Company further expanded its manufacturing activities to manufacture Manganese Steel, Low Alloy Steel, and High Chromium Steels and so on besides the existing grades of Heat, Corrosion & Wear Resistance Alloys. The manufacturing capacity, after the expansion was about 3000 tons per annum. The expanded facility has a state Of the art brand new Centrifugal, Static Casting, and Shell Molding manufacturing plant with Machining, Fabrication and all kinds of finishing and testing facilities to give fully machined products to its customers in ready to fit condition.

    Job Overview

    We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced GM (Investment Casting) to join our team at DCS Group. As the GM, you will be responsible for overseeing the investment casting operations and driving the growth of the business. This is a full-time position based in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India with an attractive salary package.

    Profile- GM/DGM- Production & Development (Investment Casting)

    Qualification - B.Tech / M.Tech - Mech, EE, Metallurgy

    Salary - Upto 20 Lac CTC

    Location - Silvassa (Gujarat)

    Experience - Min. 12+ yrs in Investment Casting Experience .

    Suitable candidate should have experience with Die Design, Die Ordering, Methoding & New Product Development.

    Candidate should have experience in managing operations and Technicalities of wax shop and coating.

    Candidate should have knowledge of Foundry operations, Fettling and have thorough knowledge of all processes up to dispatch.

    Candidate will be preferred from Rajkot since there are about 150 to 200 Investment Casting Units located there.

    Job responsibilities

    Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and targets to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.

    Continuously analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality output. This may involve evaluating different methods, equipment, and technologies to optimize the investment casting process.

    Establish and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure that products meet the required specifications and standards. This includes conducting inspections, implementing quality assurance procedures, and addressing any non-conformities.

    Lead and supervise a team of production personnel, including casting operators, technicians, and other support staff. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure their performance and productivity.

    Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production capacity and meet customer demands. Monitor resource usage, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions as necessary.

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards within the production facility. Implement and enforce proper safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and promote a culture of safety among the production team.

    Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, consumables, and finished products. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and manage inventory costs.

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance. Encourage employee participation in process improvement projects and support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.

    Monitor production costs and implement measures to control expenses without compromising product quality. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, negotiate with suppliers, and explore alternatives to optimize production costs.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth production processes, address customer requirements, and resolve any production-related issues. Foster effective communication channels and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
