    Job Purpose

    Manage all technical sourcing for HDFC Bank, developing policies and procedures for compliance and transparency in tech sourcing. Train and supervise staff, build relationships with suppliers, and negotiate commercial agreements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Procurement Activities for IT Sourcing & Procurement

    Evaluate and finalize rates as per the sourcing policy for IT sourcing and procurement activities raised by project managers of IT Tech & Digital verticals. Share RFP/RA templates with project managers to gather complete project requirements, whether OEM-specific or non-OEM specific.

    2. Market Survey / Industry Practice

    Conduct market research to identify potential partners who can supply similar services, reducing dependency on single or few suppliers. Request justification from project managers on shortlisted service providers, if required, and identify OEM or single/few supplier-specific services accordingly.

    3. RFP / RA Online Process and Offline Process

    Coordinate with the sourcing team to schedule RFP & Auction events, consulting with suppliers. Extend support in getting vendor availability for RFP/RA events, resolving vendor queries, and incorporating business inputs into RFP/RA documents.

    4. Vendor Resources Management

    Ensure supplier relationship managers complete due diligence as per the framework and obtain necessary approvals. Provide assistance to project managers to onboard suppliers and reconcile vendor resources, presenting data to management.

    5. Quality and Process

    Review and update policy processes as per compliance guidelines and improvement opportunities, ensuring adherence to established standards.
