    Vidya The Change(VTC) is a dedicated non-profit committed to transforming education for rural communities of Andhra Pradesh. Our mission is to ensure equitable access to skilled education for rural students, and we work tirelessly to bridge educational gaps and empower these students.

    Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with local schools and colleges, facilitating partnerships, and promoting our educational initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring our programs effectively reach the target audience and that our organization's mission is well-represented in the community.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct research to identify local schools, colleges, and educational institutions. Develop a database of potential partner institutions.
    • Analyze the education landscape to understand the needs and challenges of schools and colleges in the area.
    • Build and maintain relationships with school principals, college administrators, and key stakeholders.
    • Cultivate partnerships through meetings, presentations, and collaborative discussions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the NGO and educational institutions.
    • Present our organization's educational programs and resources to schools and colleges.
    • Coordinate workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to promote our initiatives.
    • Work closely with the program development team to adapt and enhance educational offerings based on feedback and needs assessment.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
    • Monitor the impact and effectiveness of our programs in partner schools and colleges.
    • Gather feedback and data to evaluate program success and make necessary improvements.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and partnerships.
    • Prepare regular reports on outreach activities and outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Passion for education and a commitment to the NGO's mission.
    • Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, communication, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in outreach or community engagement, preferably in an educational context.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and database management software.
    • Knowledge of local educational systems and challenges is a plus.

    Compensation & Benefits

    This is a full-time or part-time contract offering a compensation range of 5k to 10k INR per month based on the availability and experience of the candidate.
