    Currently we are looking for a "Regional Sales Manager- SAARC" for a leading optical products manufacturing MNC based in Germany.

    Job Purpose:


    The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the strategic initiatives across the SAARC Region for the Medical Business, specifically in Ophthalmology.

    By providing leadership to local business partners, the incumbent is tasked with driving profitable growth in alignment with assigned targets.

    Our focus lies in advancing progress, efficiency, and access to healthcare technology, thereby supporting doctors and healthcare professionals in enhancing their patients' quality of life.

    This pivotal position serves as a cornerstone for the SAARC Business, contributing significantly to its growth trajectory.

    Key responsibilities include developing sales and marketing strategies for the region, ensuring the retention and acquisition of a healthy market share across countries.

    Identify existing and future mega trends such as graphical changes, visualization, cost pressures, and sustainability issues.

    Navigate volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity effectively.

    Main and Planning:


    • Conduct market and competitor analysis to understand market dynamics.
    • Provide insights on market and customer trends, competition, and channel effectiveness.
    • Track and update technology landscape and competitor activities.
    • Drive product and price positioning strategies in collaboration with the Head of SAARC Region.
    • Identify new market segments for additional business growth.
    • Proficiency in handling digital workflows.
    Sales Process:


    • Evaluate, appoint, and develop a strong network of partners and dealers.
    • Proficiency in tender business.
    • Drive best practices for CRM usage and market data updates.
    • Ensure a healthy sales pipeline through periodic reviews.
    • Drive digital agenda with partners for enhanced customer experience.
    • Collaborate with internal divisions to implement the companies agenda.
    • Establish networks with key stakeholders in the medical field.
    Stakeholder/Vendor Management:


    • Effectively manage relationships within a matrix organization.
    • Collaborate with the Service team to enhance customer service.
    • Collaborate with internal enabling Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
    • Demonstrate selfdirected and highperformance Reports to: Regional Head
    • SAARC.
    • Team: IOL Sales and Business Partner Team in the countries.
    Key Relationships/Customers:


    • Internal: India Medical team support functions, other divisions, finance, legal, HR.
    • External: Partners, Key Customers, Business Associations.

    Job Master's/Graduation in Science or Physics or Engineering.

    Experience: 8-10 years of experience in sales and application in the Ophthalmic industry, preferably with knowledge of Consumable business (IOLs). 2+ years of experience in a leadership role with a proven track record, managing a multicultural environment.
