    Role - Network Engineer


    Responsibilities:
    This position is responsible for network services including LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, Proxy server, ZScaler and SDWAN.

    The position plans, directs, and coordinates the design, installation, and connectivity of network systems to ensure the stable operation of the organizations communications needs.


    This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing data flows, and communication links.


    Technical and Professional Requirements:
    Routing & Switching, Zscaler and


    SDWAN:

    Must have knowledge of Static Routing, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VTP, Truck, intervlan, STP, MSTP, stacks, VSS, VPC, VDC.

    Experience with inter-company routing is preferred.
    Switches, 2950, 3750,3850, C9000 series Power Stacking, Data Stacking, HSRP, VRRP & GLBP.
    Expert knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, SMBSMTP, FTP, DNS, TLS/SSL, TCP, etc.
    Advanced knowledge on technologies like VPN, VXLAN, VRRP, HSRP, STP, Portchannel, NetFlow and stacking technologies.

    Knowledge or experience with modern data center fabrics such as: Nexus 9K using NDFC (DCNM), Arista VXLAN-BGP-EVPN or Cisco ACI.

    Working technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, QoS, SGT, SSL VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TustSec, NAT etc).

    Security Knowledge on Firewall (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Paloalto) & NAC(ISE).
    Familiarity with collecting and analyzing packet captures using the Network Protocol Analyzers such as TCPDUMP, Wireshark on Network Security (SSL/TLS, VPNs, Firewall.

    Familiar with Authentication systems such as LDAP, MS AD, SAML, & VPN technologies such as IPSEC and Remote access VPN.

    Experience implementing Cisco Nexus 9K and Cisco Catalyst 9K switching.
    Maintain, lead, deploy fabric enabled networks with Cisco DNAC.
    Knowledge or experience with


    SDWAN:
    - including VMANAGE, VBOND, VSMART The role requires the ability to design, deploy, configure, and manage SD-WAN solutions, encompassing SD-WAN policies, templates, and orchestrators.
    Execute end-to-end deployment of SD-WAN policies, templates, and orchestrators. QoS Implementation.

    SD-WAN Design and Deployment:
    Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions, covering components such as VMANAGE, VBOND, and VSMART.

    Expert in troubleshooting network issues and familiarity with the necessary tools such as Ping, Traceroute, MTR, NMAP, Telnet, NSLOOKUP etc.

    Good experience working on Solarwinds NPM, NCM, IPAM, syslog.
    Knowledge or experience with the Zscaler ZIA portal. Creating Zscaler firewall control policy based on change request.

    Knowledge or experience with proxy services, particularly BlueCoat hardware and Zscaler cloud-based solutions (ZIA & ZPA), ZIA proxy policies like URL filtering, Malware and file control for users.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues.
    Scripting knowledge (SHELL, Python, Perl) would be an added advantage.
    Ability to work in an Agile environment leveraging strong work management, organizational and planning skills.
    Negotiating and consensus building between stakeholders where competing priorities exist, providing well-honed influencing skills.

    able to effectively handle difficult and stressful situations with poise, tact and patience, while demonstrating a sense of urgency.


    Desired skills and requirements:
    Understanding of ITIL processes and methodologies.
    Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
    Experience with ticketing tools – SNOW etc.
