    1. Purpose of the job

    This is a critical role with mission of growing business for Akzonobel Powder Coating in India. This position requires the ability work both independently and as part of an integrated team. He/She will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, ensuring a smooth sales process and being able to close sales and meet targets.

    2. Key responsibilities

    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
    • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information
    • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
    • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers to close sales and achieve sales target.
    • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
    • Upselling products and services, route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

    3. Level of autonomy

    • Price approval as matrix with Vol, Val, GC%
    • Customer segmentation approval
    • Create lead, opportunity, account in CRM system

    4. Job requirements

    · Proven inside sales experience or experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.

    · Track record of over-achieving target

    · Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

    · Proficient with SEO and web presentation tools

    · Experience working with MS or similar CRM

    · Excellent verbal and written communications skills

    · Strong listening and presentation skills

    · Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent

    English is must and Chinese speaking is plus
