    You'll make adifference by:

    As a Regional Payroll Lead, youwill be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll operations of theAsia Pacific Region including India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand,Indonesia, ANZ, etc. for a multinational organization, with a large number ofentities in each country. Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timelyprocessing of payroll across various countries, managing a network of ourvendor-partners, controlling cost of operations including own resource andvendor costs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing payrollbest practices, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Thisposition requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail,strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of global payroll processes.This role also is responsible for design and implementation of a strong payrollstrategy in collaboration with other regional payroll lead and global HR SharedServices strategy organization.

    1.PayrollManagement:

    ·Manageend-to-end payroll processes for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy,timeliness, and compliance.

    ·Managea team that is strong in reviewing and validating payroll inputs, includingemployee data, time and attendance records, and tax-related information.

    ·Coordinatewith internal teams and external payroll providers to ensure seamless payrollexecution.

    ·Developand implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to maintain dataintegrity and mitigate risks.

    2.Complianceand Regulatory Adherence:

    ·Stay updated on global payroll regulations, tax laws, and laborlegislation across different countries.

    ·Ensure compliance with local payroll tax requirements, socialsecurity regulations, and statutory deductions.

    ·Coordinate with legal and finance teams to address payroll-relatedcompliance issues and resolve any discrepancies.

    3.InternationalPayroll Operations:

    ·Manage relationships with external payroll vendors, ensuring theirperformance meets established service level agreements.

    ·Monitor payroll service quality, resolve escalations, and provideguidance to vendors on process improvements.

    ·Develop and maintain global payroll metrics and KPIs to measureand optimize performance and service delivery.

    4.Cross-functionalCollaboration:

    ·Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensureaccurate employee data flows into the payroll system.

    ·Partner with HR to implement payroll-related changes for newhires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.

    ·Liaise with finance teams to reconcile payroll-related accounts,resolve discrepancies, and provide necessary reports.

    5.ProcessImprovement and System Enhancements:

    ·Identify opportunities to streamline and automate payrollprocesses, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

    ·Lead or participate in global payroll projects, including systemimplementations and upgrades.

    ·Continuously evaluate existing payroll systems and software,recommending enhancements or replacements as needed.

    Your successis grounded in:

    ·Bachelor'sdegree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (advanceddegree preferred).

    ·Provenexperience in global payroll management, preferably in a multinationalorganization.

    ·Strongknowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation acrossmultiple countries.

    ·Experienceworking with international payroll providers and managing vendor relationships.

    ·Proficiencyin various payroll and HRIS systems.

    ·Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

    ·Strongleadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaboratecross-functionally.

    ·Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiessimultaneously.

    ·Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills.

    ·Professionalcertifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Global PayrollManagement (GPM) are a plus.
