    As an ESG Regulatory Expert at ESG Book, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ESG regulatory strategy by staying abreast of the ever-evolving regulatory environment and designing reporting tools and products that will be integrated into ESG Book's SaaS data management and disclosure platform. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, interpret, and implement ESG-related regulations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. You will be part of the product innovation function within ESG Book and will be required to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology and business development.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • Keep track of recent ESG regulatory developments with a view to designing ESG data and reporting tools (i.e. SFDR, EU Taxonomy, SEC, FCA, ISSB, CSRD, CSDDD, etc)
    • Contribute to client projects with an ESG regulatory angle (i.e. designing ESG benchmarking criteria, regulatory reporting and compliance matters, methodology design)
    • Interact with clients and prospects regarding their ESG reporting challenges and offer solutions, where applicable
    • Contribute to thought leadership on the topic of ESG regulations, including: Monthly ESG Policy Digest, articles, blogs and webinars
    • Closely collaborate with ESG Book's Frameworks and Policy specialists, providing guidance and training to colleagues where necessary
    • Prepare and present internal training sessions on recent ESG regulatory developments

    We Are Keen to Hire Professionals Who:

    • Master's degree or PhD in a Law & Policy discipline
    • 3-5 years of experience working in ESG compliance, sustainability reporting, corporate governance, government relations, global policy and market intelligence
    • Strong understanding of global ESG regulations, frameworks, and reporting standards (e.g., ISSB, GRI, CSRD,)
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity, i.e. analyze large datasets and translate findings and methodology into qualitative documentation
    • Are familiar with articulating analytical viewpoints and work with attention to detail
    • Possess an excellent command of the English language—speaking and writing
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
    • Are not afraid of new empirical challenges and learning a new area of expertise
    • Possess excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
