    **Job Title:** Senior Associate Quality Assurance

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Quality Assurance (QA) to contribute to our dynamic team.

    About the Role:

    As a Senior Associate QA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies.

    You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to production.

    Your work will guarantee our products are reliable, user-friendly, and meet the needs of our customers.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Test Planning & Strategy Development:

    • Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies based on project requirements, product features, and functionality.
    • Collaborate with the development and product teams to define the scope and goals for testing, ensuring test coverage aligns with project timelines.
    • Analyze requirements and user stories to design detailed test cases and test scenarios.

    Test Execution & Automation:

    • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure that software products meet quality standards.
    • Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify defects and ensure product stability.
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
    • Ensure automation tests cover all critical features of the software and are efficient in execution.

    Defect Tracking & Reporting:

    • Identify, log, and track defects in the software, ensuring they are prioritized based on severity.
    • Perform root cause analysis on defects, collaborating with developers to identify potential solutions.
    • Provide detailed and clear test reports that communicate test results, defect statuses, and overall product quality to stakeholders.

    Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:

    • Promote and implement best practices for test design, test automation, and quality processes.
    • Suggest improvements in testing processes, tools, and environments to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Contribute to ongoing quality initiatives and continuous improvement of the testing process.

    Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with developers, product managers, and project managers to ensure clear communication about project status and quality concerns.
    • Participate in regular stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide input on testing requirements and timelines.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members.

    Performance & Security Testing:

    • Conduct performance testing to ensure software meets scalability and performance requirements.
    • Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities, working with the development team to address potential risks.

    Release Management:

    • Assist in release management, ensuring software is thoroughly tested and validated before production release.
    • Provide test support during release cycles, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal issues.

    Requirements:

    To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on manual and automated testing.
    • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools.
    • Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or others.
    • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Ruby for writing automated test scripts.
    • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience in security testing and vulnerability scanning.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and the associated testing tools.
    • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
    • Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies, such as TDD (Test Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
