The Software Architect is responsible for providing technical leadership across development teams in one functional area.

This position is ultimately responsible for the successful implementation of key deliverables to ensure that each release is designed with high availability, durability, serviceability and supportability in mind.

They also act as a key evangelist for the organization.

As a Software Architect a Typical Day Might Include the Following:

Work with product management team to define new architectural requirementsEnsure strong collaboration between other development teams, Product Management and Quality AssuranceSet the end-to-end technical direction for the team, including platform, technology, tools, and infrastructureCommunicate architecture in an effective and professional manorDrive technical decisions, solve tough problems, and coordinate multiple project execution, including hands-on approach where requiredEnsure that the inContact Development coding quality standards and review processes are followed to ensure proper security and high availability standardsMonitoring the quality of code that is delivered through reviews and other processesFoster strong teamwork environment and create passion and energy within the teamBe an active participant in the development leadership team ensuring corporate successRepresents self and department with professionalism and competenceFollow the company Code of Ethics and inContact policies and procedures at all times

BS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience5+ years of software development experienceExperience with Java and readiness to work with teams using Java / .

NetExperience with developing large enterprise-scale application in AWSStrong quality orientationExpertise in designing application using relational and/or non-relational databasesWorking Knowledge of CI/CDExperience with micro-service designExperience architecting systems for performance and scalabilityExperience in product developmentExcellent problem-solving abilitiesExcellent decision-making skillsWorking Knowledge of design patternsWorking Knowledge of Agile development processesStrong communication skillsMust possess strong organizational and time management skillsBonus Experience:
