One of our prestigious clients is looking tohire a Engineer Cost Control III to bebased in Ras Al Khair Saudi Arabia In the Maritimeindustry who will be responsible for but not limitedto:

Ensure that allproject Cost Control related activities are carried out inaccordance with Company policies andProcedures.

KeyResponsibilites

• Developsystems and procedures for Cost Control Function (includinginterface with ERP team during establishment / troubleshootingphase) and monitor project total expenditure including verifyingand checking of invoices and claims from Suppliers Vendors andSubcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are capturedand properly recorded.
• Understand costestimates including material manpower Asset Management &Marine Operation. Coordinate with the Business Development teamwhenever discrepancies are noticed.
• Upload allrelevant project cost and expenses data in the designated projectmanagement software with clear schedules of when the expenses arelikely to be incurred.
• Create a process ofinformation flow with respect to each expense head (such asmaterial manpower AMMO PMT etc.).
• Monitor costperformance and generate variance / exception reports as and whenrequired. Present the same to Project manager and obtain approvalto distribute further as per distributionmatrix.
• Be responsible for assessing potentialChange Management (Internal / Customer / Supplier). Coordinate withthe project stake holders on thesame.
• Participate in the project reviewmeetings and provide any cost related data as and when required bythe project stake holders.
• Update Projectbudget margin & invoices while comparing them with thebaseline budgeted cost.
• Perform any otherduties and responsibilities as and when directed by head ofdepartment.
• Maintenance activities andpractices in assets of the company is anadvantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum812 years of experience preferable similarindustry.
• Bachelors Engineering Degree (orEquivalent)
• PMP Certificate preferable (but notessential)
• Excellent knowledge MS Office (excelword power point etc.) Primavera P6preferable
