    Construction Management Consultant (Hospitals) - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

    Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a consultant to support them on a Capital Program Management project for a leading healthcare client in India.

    This project is all about helping the client set up a new hospital business from scratch.

    They are looking for someone with prior experience in managing large-scale hospital construction projects with summarises the responsibilities of the consultant:

    • Reviewing and enhancing the project schedule for accuracy
    • Facilitating, planning, and scheduling workshops
    • Assisting in the implementation of digital solutions for managing largescale projects
    • Coordinating crossfunctionally among various stakeholders, such as the Project Team, Project Management Consultant (PMC), Design Team, and others
    • Maintaining daily coordination with the PMC and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution
    • Establishing a governance framework, including conducting reviews, monitoring key metrics, and preparing reports
    • Ensure regulatory compliance with healthcare standards and guidelines set forth by regulatory bodies, including thorough understanding and application of documents provided by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
    An ideal candidate would have:- 5 to 10 years of experience in managing large-scale hospital construction projects

    • Experience having worked with either an engineering/construction/steel firm or experience of being a project management consultant for construction projects
    • Strong understanding of greenfield hospital design, approvals, and construction processes, with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance
    • Indepth knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for healthcare facilities in India, including familiarity with documents provided by the Medical Council of India
    • A postgraduation degree from a toptier university is mandatory
    • This is a contractual opportunity with an initial duration of 12 months. The consultant will be required to work in Mumbai from Monday to Friday, with flybacks to their base location over the weekend.
