    JOB SUMMARY:

    As a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Associate Engineer, you will get an opportunity to work with all the wonderful people who create, develop and build our products, and help manage a team of other contributors to our success. You will help ensure that our products conform to the highest quality and safety standards, bridge together different disciplines and help us become truly one company. The PLM Associate Engineer will be responsible for the critical duty of supporting the creating and maintenance of Bills of Materials and Change Management processes for a variety of our products in addition to uploading CAD objects.We welcome previous experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems and familiarity with developing consumer products. Our Product Lifecycle Management system is growing, and we welcome new team members to help us fill the gaps in our growing PLM team.

    JOB DUTIES:

  • Support the PLM Engineer and PLM team in creating and updating Finished Goods, Semi Finished goods in the Windchill PLM system
  • Work with other functions to build and maintain Bills of Materials for the Finished Goods
  • Engineering Change Request (ECR) creation & Audit
  • Engineering Change Notice (ECN) creation & implementation tasks routing.
  • Create/Update Colour Variants to maintain and/or update products
  • Complete relevant Change Management Tasks in the PLM system
  • Learn additional systems that can be helpful in gathering the necessary information for generating correct Bills of Materials.
  • Create/Update Colour Variants to maintain and/or update products
  • Complete relevant Change Management Tasks involving CAD files/engg documents
  • Audit the Engineering documents and ECRs and sending redlines for rework to cross functional teams
  • Follow-up with cross functional teams
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engineering degree – Mechanical preferable
  • 3+ years relevant work experience with ECN, BOM management preferred
  • Must be proficient in ECN, handling Bill of materials & good at Microsoft Excel
  • Work experience in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and flexible. Willing to learn new things
  • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Experience working globally
  • Familiarity with PTC Windchill PLM is preferred
  • Experience with development of consumer products
  • PTC/Creo experience is a plus
