    iProbono works on cases involving child abuse, trafficking, disability rights, housing rights, rights of undertrial prisoners and engages in advocacy efforts on these subject areas. We also provide support in the form of legal assistance to NGOs across the country working on a range of issues.

    The Role

    iProbono is growing its Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team and is looking for a dynamic candidate to support our Research and Impact Director with the development and integration of MEL tools across the organisation.

    Qualifications

    • A Master's degree in law, development, or a closely related field
    • At least three years of professional experience as a researcher or analyst
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Skills and Experience

    • Demonstrable knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodology (knowledge of SPSS and/or Stata is strongly preferred).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-cultural environment.
    • Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation and/or program design and planning is strongly desirable.

    Responsibilities

    • Liaises with the India programs team to ensure the timely collection of standardised project and case data and identify and plug gaps where needed.
    • Supports the design and delivery of MEL tools such as surveys, interviews, and feedback forms, as well as other research methodologies to capture the impact of our litigation, advocacy, capacity enhancement, and Fellowship interventions.
    • Provides high-quality interpretation of emerging data and develops reports of varied formats, including iProbono's annual impact report, for different audiences (donors, partners, internal stakeholders), highlighting key patterns and trends.
    • Supports teams with the development and implementation of 'Results Frameworks' to plan and monitor project milestones and success.
    • Provides research and writing support for the development of concept notes/proposals to prospective donors including corporates, private foundations, and governments across India.
    • Proactively identifies innovative ways to facilitate the sharing of data and learning within and among teams in the organisation to enhance program impact.
