- Experience as a SQL Server DBA, typically in a 24/7 global work environment
- Demonstrate high level experience on routine DBA tasks including,
- Troubleshooting Performance Tuning and Optimization
- Backup, restores and recovery models
- Demonstrate Configuration & setup of High availability(HA) and Disaster Recovery ( DR)
- Configuration and working knowledge on 3rd party monitoring tools such as Idera or similar
- Configuration and working knowledge on 3rd party Backup/recovery(BR) tools such as Networker or similar
- Experience with PostgreSQL database Administration is good to have or must be willing to learn and perform day-to-day as assigned
- MCTS, MCITP certifications a plus
- Evaluation of database features and database related products
- Database administration for Oracle on premise and in cloud
- Manage Oracle Exadata environments on-prem and OCI, including coordinating with Platinum support and coordination with application owners on quarterly patching activities
- Work on other projects as assigned from time-to-time
- Experience with managing Oracle Exadata environments both On-Prem and in Cloud
- Experience with Oracle database products such as Real Application Clusters (RAC), Active Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM13C)
- Experience managing Exadata X8-M (or higher) using Oracle 12c and Higher with RAC
- Experience with managing multiple OLTP/VLDB DW Databases on Exadata
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate
- Hana integration skills, experience in Hana modelling and using Hana views for reporting, knowledge of ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) on Hana
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with managing Oracle Exadata environments both On-Prem and in Cloud
- Experience with Oracle database products such as Real Application Clusters (RAC), Active Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM13C)
- Clear knowledge of hardware and network infrastructure.
- Ability to think and imagine solutions to problems.
- Power to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure tools including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
- Knowledge of transport systems and the standards for network infrastructure.
- Can build detailed network diagrams and documents for network communication systems design and planning.
- Provides extensive precise details for choosing the hardware and applications.
