    Primary Role

    Product Owner role is to represent the customer to the development team. A key activity is to manage and make visible the product backlog or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development. Product Owner is also jointly responsible with business to manage the product roadmap, identify and implement initiatives which enhance the product offering, customer experience and thereby enable business to achieve their business objectives.

    Responsibilities and KPIs

    · Define the long-term strategy and translate it to product roadmap.

    · Be the customer's ambassador in various forums.

    · Helping groom and maintain the product backlog through a continuous process

    · Engaging with stakeholders regularly to understand/ gather prioritized requirements, convert them into business requirements and work in a continuous process of refinement through feedback from all stakeholders.

    · Translating business write-ups into technical functional specifications and proposed solutions that document ideas clearly and concisely using wireframes and other such technical tools to ensure a clean hand-off to the development/ QA teams.

    · Do an in-depth assessment of the requirement, impact on the existing feature and functionality and propose functional solution

    · Work closely with Solution Architect to design the desired solution

    · Throughout the period of the sprint, work to put together release notes and demo the final product to customers.

    · Strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer needs to be transformed into application and operational requirements.

    · Customer centric: Capturing voice of business/customers

    · Drive overall product design including vision and product roadmap

    · Envision and execute platform strategy

    · Product deployment, delivery & benefit realization

    · Monitoring & reporting success metrics

    Team Management

    · Build a strong talent management model for the function and lay down career growth plan

    · Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent at senior positions within the function

    · Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team

    · Motivate and control attrition by addressing issues that the team might be facing

    Desired Skills

    · Bachelor's degree in Technology + Post graduation degree either in Technology or Management

    · 6+ years' experience in developing and delivering CrediTech platform/products

    · Experience managing and influencing a diverse team

    · Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business case

    · Has performed the role of Technical Program manager

    · Knowledge of lean/agile practices - good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs

    · Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

    · Knowledge/experience with Product Lifecycle Management processes

    · Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge

    · Motivate and control attrition by addressing issues that the team might be facing

    Desired Skills

    · Bachelor's degree in Technology + Master in Business Administration OR MS,

    · Lending or Insurance domain knowledge

    · 6 + years' experience in developing digital products

    · Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is preferred.

    · Experience in articulating and executing a customer-centric digital strategy, ideally in B2B end-to-end

    · Experience managing and influencing a diverse team

    · Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business case

    · Experience in Agile Development

    · Has performed the role of Product Owner / Program Manager
