    Description

    Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to support our client's Supply Chain services and Warehouse Management Systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop robust software systems that support Supply Chain services and Warehouse Management Systems.
    • Participate in architectural discussions, system design, and implementation planning.
    • Develop scalable and well-tested backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
    • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
    • Work with messaging platforms like Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
    • Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments using cloud services like AWS (GCP experience is a plus).
    • Contribute to modern CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and infrastructure tools like Terraform.
    • Implement comprehensive test automation across unit, integration, and performance levels.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
    • Participate in on-call support for production systems and respond to incidents promptly.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong backend focus.
    • Proficient in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
    • Experience with messaging/streaming platforms such as Kafka.
    • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and modern design patterns.
    • Experience deploying and managing services on cloud platforms—preferably AWS.
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure automation.
    • Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
    • Familiar with automated testing across different levels of the stack.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
