As a Lead Engineer at Ozone, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality components of the Ozone API product. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical components of the Ozone software application
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Contribute to the evolution of Ozone's engineering practices, ensuring the adoption of best practices in software design and development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the engineering strategy with the overall business goals
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric development within the team
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development with a strong background in Typescript, JavaScript, , and MongoDB
• Proven experience in software architecture and design, with the ability to independently conceptualise and architect product lines
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage product teams effectively, ensuring timely delivery of complex software projects
• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.) is highly desirable
• Proficiency in and familiarity with Docker are advantageous
• Exceptional English communication skills, both oral and written, are essential
• A track record of delivering high-quality software products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience of working in a product-based organised and awareness of product management would be a big plus
