Overview

TheAssociate LeaderMiddleware plays a vital role in leading themiddleware team and managing the middleware infrastructure. Theyare responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and support ofmiddleware technologies to meet business needs andobjectives.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead and manage ateam of middleware professionals
• Oversee thedesign configuration and implementation of middlewaresolutions
• Ensure the availability performanceand security of middlewareplatforms
• Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to define middleware requirements
• Managemiddleware projects and deliverables
• Providetechnical guidance and support to theteam
• Conduct performance analysis andtroubleshooting of middleware systems
• Developand maintain middlewarerelateddocumentation
• Implement best practices andstandards for middleware operations
• Participatein the evaluation and selection of middleware tools andtechnologies
• Stay updated with industry trendsand advancements in middlewaretechnology
• Manage relationships with vendorsand external service providers
• Contribute tothe continuous improvement of middleware processes andcapabilities
• Support compliance and governancerequirements for middleware operations
• Ensureeffective incident and change management for middlewaresystems

RequiredQualifications

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
• 6 years of experience in middlewareadministration and support
• Proven experience inleading and managing a technical team
• Strongknowledge of middleware technologies such as IBM WebSphere ApacheTomcat and JBoss
• Proficiency in scriptinglanguages and automation tools for middlewaremanagement
• Experience with performance tuningand optimization of middlewaresystems
• Excellent troubleshooting andproblemsolving skills in a middlewareenvironment
• Ability to communicate effectivelywith technical and nontechnicalstakeholders
• Project management skills with theability to handle multiple initiativessimultaneously
• Strong analytical anddecisionmaking abilities for middlewarerelatedissues
• Certifications in middlewaretechnologies (e.g. IBM Certified System AdministratorWebSphere)
• Understanding of security practicesand principles related to middleware
• Knowledgeof cloud technologies and their impact on middlewareoperations
• Experience in implementing andmanaging middleware solutions in a hybrid ITenvironment
• Ability to work in a fastpaceddynamic environment with a focus on continuousimprovement
