    Head of Operations


    About the Role:


    As the Head of Operations(India),you will be overseeing the entire India Operations with a focus installation, Configuration, Commissioning, UAT, and handover of complex AI-powered inspection projects in 100+sites across India.

    You will work closely with the team leads and leadership to understand the operational bottlenecks to deliver a high-performing Operations team that can close projects on time and within budget in their sleep


    Your goal is to be meticulous and communicate with the top management of Fortune500 customers, as we deploy AI in their manufacturing lines.

    (mostly for the first time in their history)


    Responsibilities:

    Technical Excellence:
    a.

    Understand and contextualize new requirements from the AE/client, and prepare timelines, scoping and technical requirements to meet the project requirements.

    b. Experience in managing and driving Deep-Tech projects. (Ai/ML/Computervision)

    c. Continuously drive and improve efficiency metrics like productivity, quality and SLA

    d.

    Represent the team in various project discussions and client calls, identify exact technical deliverables, communicate the same to the technical team and drive towards the achievement of these targets.

    e. Should have dealt with complex hardware/software projects with large Fortune 100/Fortune500 enterprises in Industrial Automation, or Industrial line setup.

    Email, Phonecall, Customer visit, WhatsApp)


    Customer Delight:
    a. Effective engagement with the client SPOCs through proactive communication and regular reviews for all the Project Managers.

    b.

    Effectively communicate with clients to make sure deliverables are agreed upon during the sales process, and we over deliver consistently.

    c. Align with the client's strategies and drive the initiatives for improvement in KPIs after the product has been implemented.

    d.

    Ability to handle escalations and outages with the client or on behalf of the client with third parties including vendors.


    Organizing and Planning:
    a. Our operations team is one of the most driven teams at SwitchOn.

    Your job will be to manage, allocate, and execute in a way that keeps our employees at the centre of our Universe followed by our customers.

    b. Consistently meets deadlines for project execution.

    c. Track and manage timelines and deliverables of Projects across technical verticals

    d.

    To manage the day-to-day planning, operation and problem-solving of a team of agents and ensure the smooth running of the operations.

    e.

    Manage multiple queues across the company from the Product team and sales team and ensure optimal work distribution, track Response and Resolution SLAs.

    f. Keep track of the work hours of the team and utilization rate.


    Team Leadership:
    a. To be consistently clued in on the team's performance and present it to the Senior Leadership Team.

    b. Coaching team members on the areas of improvement. (Atleast 30+ members Team handling exp.)

    c. Train, coach and motivate team members and supervisors

    d. Create an environment that motivates high performance and supports the loyalty and retention of employees

    e. Conduct timely meetings to ensure open communication and devise an action plan to address issues/concerns raised

    f. Manage the conflict resolution among the team members

    g. You will be responsible for hiring FAEs as the number of projects and geographies expand for us. We are looking for technically stellar yet deeply empathetic leaders.


    Leadership Excellence:
    a.

    Maintain accurate reports of execution time, delays, and reasons, and ensure that data-driven decisions can be made based on the reports you generate.

    b.

    You will be a part of the senior leadership of SwitchOn, and we expect you to bring thoughtfulness, ownership, and responsibility so that we can drive the Company forward through our scale-up journey.


    Tool Experience:
    a


    Project Management Tool:
    JIRA, Asana, etc.

    b


    Invoicing/CRM Tools:
    Zoho, Salesforce, etc.

    Experience: 8+ years of experience in Operations roles at Hardware/Software startups.
