Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service and at least 2 years as Chef Tournant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for directing, coaching, supporting, supervising and evaluating all direct reports. They will also be required to oversee the production of food in any section of the kitchen, including sauce, entremetier, fish, roast, outlet CDP, tournant and cold kitchen.
The Chef will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency, while ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met. They will also be required to manage costs and ensure that supplies and equipment are used efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as superior customer service and teambuilding skills.
